OS and Gadgets Updates Sphere: Motorola Xoom 3G

A competitor to the iPad in today's market, the Motorola Xoom 3G. It has been released for over about a month or two now and is one of the reasons why I found this tablet to be interesting. Read on for more details about this gadget from Motorola.

OS and Gadgets Updates Sphere: Motorola Xoom 3G

The Motorola Xoom has a 10.1 inch screen and runs on the Android OS 3.0. It has a built-in HDMI-mini output with a slot for additional MicroSD card for extra storage. Like the iPad 2, this gadget has built-in cameras on the front and back. The back camera is a 5 MP, which is equivilant to the 720p resolution of the iPad 2. However, the front camera is a 2MP one, which is a lot better when compared to the iPad 2.

The Motorola Xoom uses the same chipsets as the one reported to be used in Sony's S1 and S2 gadgets, the NVIDIA Tegra 2 (1 GHz Dual-core). It comes with a 1Gb RAM and an on-board storage of 32 Gb.

The video below is a review of the Xoom (can be found on Youtube). The video length is not too long and shows the features quite nicely. Check it out!
